So, after months and months of saving and collecting, my JL 1000/1v2 finally came in today. Just finished my two enclosures yesterday for the 2 13w6v2's. I must say this slams.
I want to try the subs in ported boxes next, I heard they sound even more wicked that way.
Yeah I ended up building them to JL spec's. Just couldn't justify buying a box for the price they go for. Also I wanted two separate enclosures for each sub so I could position them around differently. I'll get some pictures when my dad brings my camera back from work. I may hold off though until I carpet the boxes. Haven't gotten to that yet, couldn't wait to listen.
Plugged in the 300/2 and CDT M6/Brax Tweet sets in a bit ago, blends really nicely. Now I need to design some kind of kick enclosure. The two small square boxes the comps are in sitting on the floor are WAY too big haha :P
