12" Alpha at 1000 watts
or
2 10" Kicker L5 at 200 watts each?

dont have any actual working experience with the l5's but having heard a few i would say the alpha

...install/box dependent of course

I don't think 200w would be enough to get an L5 moving very much. I would assume the Alpha would get louder, especially if it was the single spider version.

the alphas are awesome. i have one in my car right now and its one of the cleanest sub i've heard. it gets low and the upper frequencies are clean as well.

you will sh!t your pants when you hear one. its that good.

Cool cool. You have got to try 2 Classic 12's on a 1000D :-) Hard to beat that little setup for the money.
