I was looking at putting together my own system instead of buying a matched set. I am considering pairing a set of Adire Audio Koda 6 mids and Image Dynamics CD2 Horns together, and getting a good 24 db/oct crossover at 3.5 khz. Has anyone had experience with Image Dynamics horns? I heard they need some tuning to sound more natural, but that may be the cheaper ones. Do you think this will be a good match? I've heard the Koda 6 and it is amazing. If this isn't a good match, I'll probably go with a Koda component set or an Image dynamics component set. The Koda 6" mids take 150 RMS (4 ohm speakers) and the Horns take 100W RMS (8 ohms).

you should go with the Koda components. The other set up sounds like it work well too. But in the end I would say go with the components.
