MY ORIGINAL POST DIDN'T WORK FOR SOME REASON. SO I HAD TO PHOTOBUCKET EVERY PIC AND REDO IT. SORRY FOR ALL THE LINKS, I KNOW ITS ANNOYING. TAKE A LOOK THOUGH, THIS TOOK ME FOREVER LOL.

Alright, so UPS delivered my amp that I bought from Chad last week. I decided to do a little step by step install with pictures. Here we go...}

First I opened the box and took a look at the amp
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0127-1.jpg
The black and silver casing on this amp is so nice in person. Its a gorgeous looking amp.^^

Then I opened it up to see what the guts look like
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0128.jpg

Then I took everything that was needed and set up my work station
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0129.jpg

Before I did anything I made sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0130.jpg

Then I took off the covers on the keeker and unwired it before unmounting it.
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/kicker.jpg
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0131.jpg
It's a kx250.2 btw^^

Open spot for the Realm
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0132.jpg

Then I put the amp in place and did a test fit
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0133.jpg
Perfect size. This amp is a little bit smaller than the kicker.^^

After that I took out the old RCA's and started replacing them with some Krystal RCA's I picked up from Knukonceptz a few weeks ago.

old RCA's^^

old RCA's^^

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0137.jpg
I didn't even have to take my HU out because the RCA's were right on top.^^

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0138.jpg
I put some electrical tape around the RCA connections. Its a little habit I guess. I just like to protect the connections. ^^

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0139.jpg
new RCA's:-)^^

new RCA's:-)^^

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0141.jpg
Got all the wires in place^^

Then I took out the removable power and speaker connections from the amp and hooked them up to my wires
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p173/stavenmist/Photo0142.jpg
This feature on the Realm amps is very convenient.^^

Then I mounted the amp and plugged in all the connections.

Finished product

A view from inside the trunk.^^

The gain, bass, and crossover potentiometers light up in blue. Looks sick.^^

You can see the realm on the right side of the pic. Thats how I usually have it while driving.^^

____________________________________________________________________________

After making all the adjustments, it doesn't sound too much different from the kicker. I wasn't really expecting it to sound that much different. The thing I did notice was I don't need BBE to make it sound better. I leave it off now and it sounds perfect without it. The music comes through crystal clear with no noise. :-)

Chad the way the gain was when I got it, matched my speakers perfect. lol. I didn't even have to adjust it.

So far I love this amp. Now I'm already for some HEX's. Thanks Chad. This amp will serve me well for many years.
