Hey guys, im almost done building my new enclosure, and I actually want to carpet it this time, but im not sure how much I really need to buy.

My enclosure is: 33.5"x18"x15"

Do the math. Calculate the area, add say 15-20% for waste and run with it. You'll use an entire can of 3M adhesive if you're new at it.

I was planning on buying 2 cans of 3M for this box and any others in the future.

Buy 4 sq yards and call it a day. Extra won't hurt.

4 yards is plenty, you may could get by with just 3 but for the price, i'g get as much as i can afford. in my case haveing carpet on hand is a beautiful thing.

Haha whats that mean Paul. I used just about 1 entire can of that stuff when I did mine.


BTW Joe that is very good carpet I used it on my box.

Alright, cool. I just measured everything out and I will only really need two sheets, but I bought three to have some extra that I can use for when I make an amp rack for my new amp.

Things should be here sometime next week. I'll post pics when it's all completed.
