i know nothing about car audio.but i am getting 2 Audiobahn AW1200Q 12INCH SUBS.i need to know what kind of amp i should get.they are 1200 watts each and 700rms power handling.i and i need to know what else do i need to install these subs..plzz help me

your subs are pretty efficient meaning that they'll squeeze a lot of sound you give it. you don't need those 700s amps to make them pound. having two amps by the way is a hassle to hook up if you're new to car audio. try to get one amp that puts out about 1000 watts rms. 500 watts to each sub is enough to cause permanent hearing damage. make sure your subs are wired to 2 ohms.

You can find used Linear Power amps on Ebay for a song. Look for a 2202iq,3002,5002 or any of the HV TO3 amps. any of these amps will rip your eardrums in no time flat.

i have 2 12" clarion 500watt dual coil subs with a 2 channel 280 watt amp also clarion, i want to get a bigger amp cause i am not using all of my subs, what do u suggest? how big and how many channels
i have 2 pyromid pwf12x 500 watt max 12" subs,a banpass box,a pyromid pb1281x 1600 watt amp and i want to know why it sounds like crap is it the speakers??? help please
