The AQ1200 is a monoblock amp.
It just has 2+ and 2- on the side to allow you to wire multiple subs to it easily. They are connected internally.

When it says 2ohm linked, it means when you have to amps. You bridge those 2 amps together at 2ohm and each amp actually sees 1ohm.

Just wore your DVC 2ohm sub to 1ohm and hook it to 1+ and 1- on the amp. Thats it.

most monoblocks come with 2 positives and 2 negatives to offer more wireing options. you just need to use 1 positive and 1 negative. don't worry about the linakable part. that is only if you have two of the amps you can link them. just put both positives in the pos and both negatives in the negative

Just use one side of the terminals, don't put the wires in as if you were bridgeing you dont need to do that. If you use all 4 it will internally bridge it to 1ohm

wait. its not puttin out sound... wtf. the sub is a 2ohm. dvc. so my understanding is wire posotive of amp to + of voice coil#1 then - of vc#1 to + of vc#2 then - of vc#2 to amp -... right? that should be 1 ohm? but for some reason i turn on my amp. power lights on. ground is attatched. every wire is good but no sound?

No.

Wire both + on the sub to the + on the amp.

And both - on sub to - on amp.
