whats the best for the price, amp that i can get to power a 10W7? My alternator is only put out about 500 watts to it, so i want to get an amp that can run the sub hard without taking alot of energy from the alternator.

I would get a Kicker ZX1000.1. Your sub is 3 ohm and handles 750w, and that amp should do ~750w at 3 ohms.

A stock alternator should be able to handle that.

It's a 70 amp alternator in a toyota corolla, but the doors, windows almost everything is manual, so that wouldnt use power. Do you think it can push 750 watts?

Probably. If not it's easy to just turn the volume down, you don't have to use the amps full power.

When I see JL W7's I always see Phoenix Gold Xenon mono amps.(same power at 1-4ohm).

This would match well with that sub.

You should get a JL 500/1, they're super efficient amplifiers and won't put a huge strain on your charging system.

You're probably looking at ~600w there. I'd get the kicker.
