sub has to be forward 12" re sx 1.8 cu ft @35 hz 45 sq in port
right now I have a similar box with the port out the side but its not as loud as I though it would be. my current box only has about 15 sq in of port area. any help would be great
Well you prolly need more port area. Sub forward and port to the side is usually the best position. I have an ex cab s10 and I have sub forward and ports up and it sounds good,so you might wanna try it like that too.
