well 500 to 600 is more power than I want to run...and lets just say I came to a conclusion about subwoofers...you can make a sub loud if you set it up right and you can make a sub sound good if you set it up right too (anything with a half decent build anyway)

I remmeber the old school subs when 200 rms was a good rating...gone are those days

Yup. I remember pushing 300w back in my day and EVERYBODY was envious.

Those DEFINITELY were the old school days. In 1987, I was churning out 1,200 watts from a older Rockford Fosgate amp and 4 8'' Kicker subs in a button down vinyl covered ported enclosure made by Kicker and although it was extremely pricy, I was bumpin and so were the ladies.

Are you sure that is the official picture of what it will look like Hunter? I've seen about 10 different ones lol.
