Lol hopefully someone tosses that up on Youtube!

Question, not to steal thread::
When should you add polyfill to a sealed box? My buddy is running 2x10" RD sonances in a sealed box and I believe each subs .75 cu feet. Should he add polyfill to it?

I have seen sand and I have seen lead shot but this was used in between wall cavities as a dampener. If you build a double wall with a gap you pour sand down into the cavity and seal it up, old trick.. Polo..

I've heard some high end home speaks with sand in them. It's used for its' damping qualities. Scroll half way down. It might surprise you.

no this was not a double wall i think it was unique rides or something like that he made a fibeglass box and then put sand in each sub hole

POLYFILL Add it when you want some more Output..... Its realy suposed to be when you dont have enough airspace for your "said sub" F it i put the whole bag in my 1.75 box for my 15 made a big diff

Makes the box bigger by slowing the pressure waves down

Opps, I meant each sub gets .75cu feet.

He does want to hit up a few shows so he wants some bass, but he also wants a nice tight responce.

Should I tell him to pollyfill?

thanks
