Are you really going to take advice from people on a car audio forum about which truck you should get?

Now that said....

Chevy ftw. Silverado's are great trucks. The older ones (99 and older styles) are really built like tanks, real solid.

The newer ones are good also.

In those years, the Chevy definitely. I like the new F150s, but not those years so much.

I drive 2 Fords here at work and let me tell ya...I HATE EM! The main reason I say that is because Fords have the worst turning radius in the world. That's about the only reason I'll give even though I could find more. Why you'd want a truck that you're not going to use for work is stupid to me but eh...if you want a gas guzzling non- practical vehicle that's on you.

ur gunna notice ur pockets gettin smaller everytime u fill it up. i had a 5.9L V8 Dodge Durango and all my money went into gas when gas was cheaper it was about $80 to fill and i averaged about 14 mpg. i would say stick with ur car or get another car

Rob, I was under the impression that Ford turning radii, at least on the trucks, was superior to chevy. I used to have an f150 until someone decided to give women licenses and I unfortunately wrecked it into some girl that pulled head on into me....the turning radius on it was crazy, I could pull a b1tch from the parked position in most neighborhoods.

Ford all the way, I've only had problems with GM

I guess I like all the brands, just test drive a few and see what you like. The only bad thing I can say about any of them is Dodges transmissions, they blow b@lls...

Well...that's funny because just about everyone that I know that owns a F-150 hates the crappy turning that they have. I drive a 99 F-150 for work and it's terrible. My buddy has a 2005 F-150 with a quad cab and it's also terrible. My brother owns a 99 and he hates it as well when he has to make tight turns. Even the Econoline vans have terrible turning IMO. That's the only thing I'll address as far as his choices go. It's probably not an issue where you live but in the city you can forget about parallel parking.

i drove a silverado ss and wasnt that impressed...it wasnt that much different than my uncles silverado 5.3 L.

Out of those years - I would go with a Silverado or Sierra.
