well i got in my car today and one of my kenwood speakers will make static noise to the bass on some songs. but it sounds totally fine other than that. and on some songs it doesnt do it at all, even when i have it really loud. and if it was blown wouldnt it sound totaly weird? and wouldnt i notice it? like a popping or could it blow without me knowing at all?
did you check your wiring? did you check the CD? maybe its been warped or something if you've been using it for a long time ive heard of somethings like that happening to old CD's. i had an MP3 player and used non burned CDs on it and it would actually spin so fast the picture/songs would tear off
