I recently just bought an Audiobahn A16000V and i installed it in my truck and when i came time to turn it on, the protection light just stayed on. i realized i heard a sound coming from the grounding spot itself and could feel vibrations coming through the wire. i thought it might have been the wiring so i hooked up another amp to it and it worked perfectly fine.

So im guessing its the amp, but i have never seen anything like this before. Has anyone encountered this or know whats going wrong? Thanks

i've never heard of that either. my guess would be that the amp has died. are the wires hooked up correctly?

do you have warranty?

Audiobahn does the job, but is too risky.

well i contacted the company where i got it from and they said you need to make sure that the ground wire is very secure and is pretty short because that amp takes a lot of power.

it's time to use your warranty.
