But for the purpose of staying on topic I'd say I'd probably buy another vehicle to put my subs in- I'd like a new excursion w/ a 6" lift and diesel, of course loaded besides sunroof. I hate the sunroof in the 01 tahoe I have now. Then Id pack that sumbitch with as many btl 18s as I could. Proabably 12 or 14 and make it a 2 seater. I'm sure there are plenty of other more expensive subs I could get (LMS Ultra for example), but I'm very happy with the BTLs I have now. Then I'd buy a JBL Crown 6000 for each pair of BTLs, and another to drive the front doors/mids (It's 2 channels so why not?). I'd have a set of 2 280a alts per amp with a nice battery bank, probably oddyssey or something just to be different. I'd ask scott from Fi if he could custom make me 4 Fi Q 8s for the front doors, I'd say a 2 per door. While he was saying something might be in the very very distant future, I'd hope money could buy miracles. Then a few sets of focal utopias per door, just to piss off the serious SQ guys  . |
