Is this a decent amp??? I have the chance to buy this brand new for 300$, I am wanting to maybe match it up with a single alpine type x 10inch, or one of similar quality. How do you think it would work?

It's a quaIity amp, but don't see the point in spending cvx money when you only have 300w. A type R will do just as well for half the price.

if u want to run a sub, then get a mono amp. however u cant pass up the amp deal, then put it on some components

the only advantage a mono amp has over a stereo amp (usually) is efficiency, but the pdx is class D and is very efficient. On top of that, at 300w the advantage class D has over class D is minimal anyway. The pdx150.2 is just as good as any other amp in powering a sub.

im just sayin that 300watts isnt enough for a type-x. i would just go a different route. but if he likes it then thats what matters
