My system and a ? about frequency

I used to have a 7500 and it was alright but didnt hit the lows at all, and sounded kinda blah. Their amps are over priced too. Your deck is a nice mid level peioneer. Do you mean what crossover freq. for the amp? If so then anywhere from 60-80 is good. Your not gunna really gunna get a different kind of bass setting it to 60 or 80, setting it higher will play more high bass frequencys though. Your just cutting the frequency off at whatever point you set it to. So if you set it for 80 then 80hz and below will go thru.

And had heard they are pretty good for price. So far I have been happy with it. Another ? -- Would it be a good idea to turn my amp up high or all the way? And what about the bass boost.. how high can I turn that up without losing quality of sound?

Set your gain this way: download a 50hz 0db test tone from realmofexcursion.com and use this site: http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/setgain.asp
