Okay so I go home on friday and plan on doing alot of work on my system and I want to make sure I have everything right before I go spending money.

I plan on buying 0 gauge wiring notsure exactly how much but from there I will put on a fused distribution block that will split of to 2 strands of 8 gauge(would use 4 but I already have some 8 let me know if I should use 4). I plan on using less than 5 ft of 8 gauge wire from the distribution block running to 2 crunch amps(the amps are supposedly 500rms. anyway I already have one and it seems reliable so I think I will pick up another). Each amp will be connected to 1 alpine type r subwoofer setup to be 4ohms. Also I plan on running a short amount of rca cable from the lead amp to the other one.

I think that covers everything. Let me know if you see any problems with what I plan on doing so I can correct it before I go buying sh1t.

Thanks

get the kicker PKD1 1/0 wiring off ebay...thats a great kit...comes with 2 distribution blocks, but u will need to buy seperate RCAS cuz they dont provide it. go to knukonceptz to get there twisted pair of rca.

Over summer I plan on building my own boxes for 2 12" type-r's. Does anyone see a problem with facing one into the car and the other facing the opposite way into the trunk(toward the hatch)?

car is an olds alero and boxes will be slotted

Does anyone know a good price to pay for 12" alpine type -r's?

from what I can see $130 a piece seems to be a good price.
