ok, i'm pretty sure i'm trading this guy for a Pioneer Avic D3. i want to power it up and see if its in working condition just in case...
so to do this i just need to hook up ol' red from my distro block, and ground it, right? i shouldn't need anything else just to get it powered on... thanks in advance guys
Yes, you will need a power and a ground. But also hook up the acc wire to the 12v constant just for testing purposes. It is what tells the HU to come on when the car is started.
