Want to upgrade my subs, i want two 12inch subs an a amp to run them. needs to be better then two type r's. price limit is about
$2000 australian and i dont want to upgrade my cars stock battery. any ideas?

ive got a ford ba xr6, carpentry? wat for? ive got the box sorted out and all the wiring just need the subs and amp.

how about one of these ...digital designs 9512 new for 530 shipped with a carbon fiber dustcap...and that leaves plenty of money for an electrical upgrade (alternator) and you could pay someone to do it for you since you dont want to do it...that would be lound enough with one and run fine daily with the right alternator

It was a 9515F and I sold it. I pretty much gave away the 9512D to one of my best friends.

i would rather get two subs and $530 is almost $1000 australian, dosent need to be top of the range system just a similar quility to type r's. dont worry bout the alternator just need ideas for the sub and amp. thanks anyway sean that is a nice lookn sub.

The size of your alternator roughly determines how much wattage you can handle; therefore what sub/amp is proper. It is quite important. Look in your car's information manual it should say in there how big your alternator is.

i cant find size of my alternator but ive ran a 1200watt amp from it and its worked fine so work on about that. so maybe two subs that run on 500watts each? thats a big range of gear JOEY DESALVO what brand would u recommend?

As far as i can remember it was an alpine amp, not sure what model though. Thanks alot Joey DeSalvo ill look into them and let ya know what i end up with.
