I was wondering if someone can draw me up a box for a 12" Alpha v1

it needs to be 2.5cuft net, at 32hz, port firing to the side, sub firing to the hatch.

total dimensions/space available" 37"w 15"h 15"d

due to the fact that it needs to be firing to the side, the box really shouldn't be much wider than 33" in which case the depth can be increased to accomodate that.

Thanks in advance for the help fellas

well a 30 x 15 x 15 would give you approx 3 cuft. with the driver displacement and the port displacement, you should be at around 2.5 cuft. maybe a bit more.

I don't know for sure, since it's no longer on the site. but I know that the displacement is just slightly less than the 2nd version of the alpha. sorry

4dr blazer. no need to "draw" it up, I just need to know dimensions for the box and port. you could use paint for a general idea, or I can generate something once i get the dimensions and ask you if that's what you had in mind

thanks Kevin, I hadn't used subwoofer tools because I didn't wanna mess around with it to get a side firing port.

sean, no problem, I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you in a few days.

I'd rather not get into the external interchangable right now, just because I don't have the time to make sure it is done right. But I wouldn't mind doing the original plan we talked about: regular interchangable port, slot being 32hz, and aeros being ~47hz

so yeah, just for the sake of ease right now, can you throw me some externals for a simple interchangable port, as we talked about?

by tonight or even by mid day tomorrow would be absolutely great!

Thanks again sean, for all the help

this is better. a bit bigger. if you want to tune a bit higher, then just shorten the port a bit.
