Cool. Were those Hifonics BXI 1600s on those Solo Xs? It looked like you had decent excursion on them though...

Looks like it pounds. Whats the tuning of the enclosure and what kind of electrical upgrades you got done?

lets see.. I upgraded the big 3... I am in desperate need of a h.o. alt... Running 2 dry cell's.. 0 ga. wiring.... van flexes too much though... I want to wall it out from the B-pillar... It is a 5.25 cu. ft./sub enclosure tuned around 35-40hz i believe....

Yup. That's called flex alright. What song was on the second vid? It sounded like a sine sweep in the beginnning.

Looks loud as hell. When you were turning up the volume I see you were going in the 50's. I think pioneers go up to 62. You could be clipping the signal going to the amps with the volume that high. Most HU's clip over 75% volume. Just looking out for ya...

The song in the second video is Woofer Cooker. It's from a Boston Acoustics CD.

most pioneers dont clip until you go past 61/62

its been tested, never put it on full volume 62/62

i think they might clip a little sooner than that because it is audible at 61 and 62 but not at 60. but it is still probably clipping just to an inaudible level. i would guess 57-58 is where they start to clip and just 61 and 62 are where you can hear it.
