I'm trying to hook up a 12" 2 ohm dvc to a AQ1200d, I have it wire in parallel to a 1 ohm load like this.
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=22

The amp has 2 sets of speaker terminals.
http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQamps.htm

How do I hook my wires up 1- 2- 3+ 4+

Also would I calculate the gain at a one ohm load? V=sqrt(1000w*1ohm) V = 31.6

yep. the ups man dropped it today!

"most mono-blocks are like that.

tried that but there was no output. also tried splitting the pos. to both pos. on amp, and same with the neg.. I cant get any kind of reading w/ a DMM either.

Your formula is correct.

Pretty sure the outputs should be wired in parallel internally. It's quite strange that you're getting nothing out of it. Sorry but the light's on, right?

yea i read about the equipment modify program he has....

"Audioque Modification Program
If you changed something in your system and the sub is now either too big or too small, send it back in and have it rebuilt into what the new system needs.

If the coils needs to be changed to match a new amp setup, we can change that too.

This is the Audioque Modification Program. Your subs can be mod'ed to fit your future needs. You don't have to start buying new stuff or finding buyers for your old stuff, just redesign and modify.

The Modification Program is a benefit of buying a quality product the first time, greatly reducing future costs while enjoying state of the art equipment."

but at the moment i have no job cuz jus got laid off so i cant b spending money wrecklessly like that haha.

well I got it working, I feel like a dumbass. It was as simple as switching the input/output switch to output.

I was doing Math and subtracted 5 from 49 and came out with 42...
Root of 2 multiplied by the root of 2 was 4...

I feel your pain.
