gotta question cal? how much the tc run you? and how does the sub compare to a type - r to everyone else? i'm thinking of getting something diff over the summer but i like the type -r's sound quality. can that tc match it or do even better plus get real loud?

no kidding on the leauge thing, i haven't ever heard one i just heard ppl talk about them. so i'm asking calm down. the other thing is i know alot of 15's are spl's not sq like wreckless even said to me the sq on my Type - R was better then his 15 he was running over the summer so i'm asking.

the sq doesnt have anything to do with the cone size... the bigger cone just gets louder. the ONLY way i could see the cone affecting sq is if the sub has a REALLY weak motor, but 99% of the time its a non issue. wreckless said that because he doesnt like the sq of his 9515. i guarantee there are a lot of 15s and even 18s that will smoke your r in SQ

fair enough, that's why i'm looking to upgrade over the summer. by summer i should have time and money to get a new woofer and i her alot about the tc but i just don't here much on sq as much as i here it gets loud. terms seemed to be thrown around alot and alo of my impressions are the bigger it is the looser your sq the more spl it's aimed at. it's like i here about how a 12 can never match a 10's punch. that's why i ask abou the tc it seems to be talked about as a fine balence of both.

hahah thanks for the comments....

umm i've actually never heard a TC sub either, but my impression is that it'd dust a good majority of subs in SQ and get loud doin' it so im pretty excited.

i actually called DD tot alk about the M1, i asked about what kinda power i'd see out of it, the tech seriously just started laughing...supposedly we're talking 1500-1600 at 1 ohm minimum (rated at 600 lol)

yea so basically, im pretty pumped to get this install goin, im tryin to call off work for the whole weekend so i can get started...you guys will be even more jealous when you see the finished product, should turn out pretty sick if everything goes to plan.
