Kicker sub comparison....

Any idea how they'd compare to some old cvr's(400wrms to each)? He guarantees his systems louder than mine, but i haven't heard him blast it yet. but for a cheap setup, the cvrs are pretty loud.

Sounds like he just tossed 450 watts out there and it stuck. CVRs are really nothing special. You get what you pay for. At $75 a piece, that isnt a whole lot IMO.

In the end whoever has a higher tuned box, that is if you both have ported boxes which I doubt, will be "louder"...but cosign what Sean says those are more SQ based...back when Keeker wasnt so cheap SPL crazy.

Chances are that your CVRs will be louder. But it would come down to enclosures IMO. And I'm not knocking CVRs but putting a pair on 800-1000wrms isnt all that satisfying compared to 90% or so of other combinations on that power, that's all.
