I'd do between between 25-30ft net with a tuning around 36hz if you're looking for spl. You'll still have to mess with the tuning till you figure out what the vehicle likes.

No problem. I know most 18s like between 6-8ft net each. In as big a vehicle as that chances are unless you build a wall it'll like a lower tuning. Hope to see build pics when the time comes.

what kinda van is it? like astro or a regular van.

also i wouldn't do a wall man. don't you want to listen to music when you are not competing? also if you are competing, you won't be able to keep up with those other extreme guys.

Did you have a flat wall, a diamond, packman, or something else in mind for it? Hope it works out for the best.

if i did that i would put $3,500 each sub so 21,000rms total i don't think i got that kinda money right now i know i can get 2 9518's for like 1,300 so x that by 4 its $5.200 just for the sub's now the amps umm RD 3250.1D $1399.00 x that by 6 its 8,394.00 then i need like 2 300 amp alts and idk if two will fit? and the batts 10 HC2400 $339.99 x 10 = 3,399.99 2 alts i think would be 1,040.00 a total of 18'033.00 and there's still more to do lol

I have a guy on team revolution that has a van with 4- 18" heavyweights in a wall that does a mid to high 150's in db drag with around 10,000 watts with one battery.

We are also building a 2005 navi with 4 18" alphas with four 1750.1 and 7 batteries.

So let me know what kind of box you were looking at and we can help you get a design.

If you want to use less power the Alphas with two spiders will do great for you. Alphas get pretty loud there is a guy in usaci doing well over 160db with three 15"

I also sent your email to the team guys to see about getting you on a team.

thanks Steve Miller i really want to get on the team! i may just do a reg Box and not a wall whatever works! I was thinking of using 2 5750.1D RMS power, 2 ohm linkable/dual mono 9000w x 1ch. I think that may work
