will this amp make my headlights dim?>......am i gonna need another battery?......am i gonna need a voltage meter?>........is it that much power.....is my battery gonna run donw that fast.....because if so i dont kno......
You'll probably be fine. I was drawing probably upwards of 150A on peaks from a stock 55A alternator, single stock battery, and no big 3 with no problems. I just had to watch it on tones, then give my battery lots of time to charge up. It will depend on the draw of other stuff, such as air conditioning. A voltage meter is a good idea.
wat exactly does a volatge meter do?>.......i was jus wonderin because i jus want some hard hittin bass but i dont want to end up spendin a crap load of other money jus to keep my car runnin
aight..........i wanna be sure...........how ofter will i probably be changin my battery........i went from wantin a 1000 watt kenwood amp to this amp cause every body said that amp sucked and i only want the best
Dont worry about it getting to high, just watch for when it starts dropping to 12ish volts. If it gets too low, you will kill your battery and possibly fry your amp. 12.5 volts and up is stable, anything below you are loosing ground. You will mainly have to watch it at idle if you have it cranked with alot of things running like light, wipers, etc.
i didnt kno if it would blow the subs or not becaue the amps 1200 rms and the subs are 500 rms appeace and thats kinda like 600 rms to each sub so......
