I finally got rid of my 2 12" BMs and purchased a second ED Nine.1 for new subs. I am looking for something different. I've had the 1 15, 2 10s, and 2 12s. How would 4 10s sound? Problem is I only have around 5cuft for box in my trunk. I was thinking either, all 4 10s:
1. AQ 2.5sd
2. Diamond D6
3. Fi SSD
4. DD 2510
Yes, I have appropriate charging system. HO alt and yellow top in trunk. I am looking for SQL/SPL.

id go with 4 10" SD2.5 that would probably get loud as f**k and wont be that expensive compared to the DD.

You think AQ will give the hightest output while still sounding good getting there? I don't know if I was clear before. I will have two ED Nine.1s for the subs.

can you strap 2 ed amps together?

if you have the space then go with 4 12s or 4 15s.

4x10's have the potential to be extremely punchy with rock music in the right box. I think it could be a cool setup if your going for sq, but if you want more SPL try and fit 2 15s sealed or get 2 15s ported that dont need very much box space.

Chadly, NINe.1s can be strapped.

Guys, remember I only have a max of about 5 cuft to wok with. Its going into a maxima. U don't think four twelves will get as loud as 2 15's sealed or ported?

4 10s will work great then. but why are you set on 4 subs? why not a pair of killer 12s?

Like I said chad, just looking to try some thing a little different. I am looking for something that will be drastically better than the BMs. They were great subs for the money. I'm not dead set on four tens, just think they will be louder and sound better than 2 12's of 2400w.

Would four 12s sealed be louder than four tens ported? Didn't you have four tens at one point rovin? Again I want the loudest setup while still sounding good. SQL/SPL.

yep i had 4 10s pioneer but they were in about 7cuft ported since u only got 5cuft & i know a type R slams in just 1cuft sealed i fgured it would best suit u since to port those 4 10s more cuft is needed ......

What do I do? Isn't 1.2cuft good for most 10" subs ported? If not, what 12s will be noticably better off twice the power as I had on my BMs?

1.2cuft for a 10 wont make much sense

how about if get a single monoblock & do 3 10s instead ....u hardly see any1 doing that much ....

What about a pair of sealed 16ov.2s? If you got creative, ported might be an option as well.

I give up. How does 2 RD Alphas sound, each off their own ED nINE.1 amp. That way I can still use the box my BMs were in which is 4.4 cuft at 32 hz. Will this blow the BMs away?
