i want to build a spl box for this and compete for fun and too see how loud i can get this sub. i was thinking 4 cuft tuned high would be good.

or should i go with 3.5 cuft tuned high?

a little shout out for my buds.....

3.5cbft sub up to the passenger side with 3 4 inch areoports 12.41 inch long each

(if your going to put it on the backseat like your btls)

tuning 45hz by the way

with that you should be hitting pretty good

as for your box id say 4 cubes tuned to 45 or so hz depending on vehicle. possibly even 4.5 cubes since your are just trying to get max spl out of it. i am assuming burps only correct?

not sure sean. when the subs were where the backseat used to be, my car would peak at around 45-48hz. now that the sub is in the trunk i am not sure. i am thinking it should be similiar cause i would fold my seats down.

"my 07 honda civic coupe peaks at 53hz"

I was guessing 51 hz for Chad so I was close...thats why I said he would probably be adjusting port tune later on my previous suggestion
