Gold Member Username: Denali_on_22sThe kids love my rhyme... Post Number: 4252 Registered: Feb-06 | if you i was making the impala my "dream car" i would not have it sound like azz or have anything cheap in it. audiopulse ftw. |
Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 709 Registered: Mar-06 | well most likey i won't pound it to hard anyway... wouldn't want everthing to start rattling when i'm driving down the street and the stereo not even on... ppl say u need a loud azz system to loosen things up but i believe different... but u do have a good point... thanks i'll look @ them to |
Gold Member Username: Denali_on_22sThe kids love my rhyme... Post Number: 4253 Registered: Feb-06 | if nothing else you can buy a pretty nice sub that sounds good and have the magnet powder coated and it would look tight... you could even have any sub dipped in chrome |
Gold Member Username: MendonmafiaUSA Post Number: 1256 Registered: Aug-06 | thoes chrome id max's make me drool but cost a pretty penny. |
Gold Member Username: MendonmafiaUSA Post Number: 1257 Registered: Aug-06 | still gotta put these near the top of my sexy list tho. And i still say these sound AMAZING and get VERY loud too. Gotta be the all around best woofers i have ever personally heard. they only eat up about 5-600 watts eachand can work in relativly small ported enclosures too. supposedly they can work in very small sealed enclosures but sealed aint my thing. |
Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 710 Registered: Mar-06 | dam those are nice.... hears a few i found in my price range... jl 15w0-4... i like the cone..$140 power acoustik pw2-15m... the magnet..$95 RE sr15..the cone... $160(not to sure on this one) fosgate p2..cone $130 sony xplod magnet $93 spl s315h cone $122 kicker cvr cone $118.. i have had these in 12s in a talon and loved em... i got these in 10s rite now in my accord and they sound good for 10s ... purty impresive to tell ya the truth |
Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 711 Registered: Mar-06 | i think the biggest those come in are 12s tho... thats to bad them ones are nice... those audiopulses were real nice to but i couldn't find no prices and they look like theyd be pricey |
Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rPost Number:... Post Number: 6942 Registered: Jul-06 | Unless you're going to run the sub with the cone facing into the box it won't matter too much what it looks like. |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8048 Registered: Jun-04 | the re sr would be my choice performance wise and if its magnet inside the box |
Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 712 Registered: Mar-06 | well the plexi glass will be showing the inside of the box and if the cone is the attractive part then i'll mount the cone facing in..... know what i mean |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8057 Registered: Jun-04 | not too sure the re sr's magnet would be all that impressive to look at its only the step up from the bottom line and I havent seen the magnet on it |
Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 713 Registered: Mar-06 | them magnets are purty liitle but the cone looks nice... is has a nice clean look to it....heres an idea of what i'm lookin to do http://www.cardomain.com/ride/824724 it ain't the same but its simalar..... ain't that the nicest car you every seen??? |

Silver Member Username: Talon_es93Trinidad, Co Post Number: 715 Registered: Mar-06 | ya... well maybe one decent 12 but the thing is, is that these trunks are big and i don't want it to look like an 8" in there u know |

Silver Member Username: SomedonniedudeIllinois United States Post Number: 997 Registered: May-07 | If you go inverted, I would go with a 12" over a 15". The 12" will look beefier. What about a Type R? It would also sound descent too. |
Gold Member Username: ShortysetniesRock Vegas, NC US Post Number: 2161 Registered: Mar-06 | "go yell @ them leave me alone i didin't do nothin to u" Im just trying to keep someone from wasting money. I wouldnt want to pop my trunk if I had a sweet car and a crappy sub in it. Just trying to help you make a decision. "i just said about 10 times why i don't want loud azz bass" not all subs make loud azz bass. You could get a great, strictly SQ sub and not have it turned up loud. |
