Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 00:49 GMT im gonna get 2 12" cvrs for $150 bucks shipped, are there any pioneers that can match that? im willing to spend under 200 for subs/sub. i keep trying to decide on 1 sub or 2. 2 subs will have alot more surface area to push air than one really good sub.

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 01:15 GMT yes they would. if you cant pass up the deal then get the cvrs! they are great budget subs and have the potential to get loud. give them around 800-1000 rms. build a ported box to their specs. and you will have a good system

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 01:16 GMT 2 cvr's would be louder but the type r would sound so much better. why not spend a bit more and get 2 type r's with a nice 1000wrms amp.

Thursday, February 21, 2008 - 18:57 GMT Anyone? How about the Kicker preloaded subs, like the VCVX12? My buddy is looking for some output, with a side of SQ.

Thursday, February 21, 2008 - 19:51 GMT Cvx's get LOUD to 12" cvx are louder than my friends to type R's. I think the cvx is 800 RMS but I'm totally not sure on tht. But I like the cvx a lot more than the cvr. Get the cvx's or the type r's leave the wimpy cvr's alone. Save money and get something good now instead of spending more money on buying something later when u get tired of ppl who saved their money and got good stuff riding up next to you shaking ur car and drowning out ur music with their good subs. Ya dig. Lol

Thursday, February 21, 2008 - 22:49 GMT I have a 12" CVX. Great ported to 38htz...but in the winter I run it sealed, I like the response with the windows up when it is sealed. CVRs dont compared with CVXs.
