i just went to their web page and did the battery calculator and it says i should replace my existing battery with a hc 1400 and then buy 2 more hc 1400 to put in the trunk! should i really have that much battery power?

Don't listen to that calculator........ think about it, Kinetik telling you to buy a lot of kinetik batteries, what a surprise.


Replace your stock battery with the biggest one possible. DEFINITELY get an HO alternator if you don't have it yet, or nothing else is going to help.

btw per your suggestion i went with the MCR 200 amp alt. should be here in a week or so (custom build, said it wasa 2 week job) i cant wait to install her :-)

MCR makes strong alts........ that should do good, along with a good battery

yea im gonna get a kinetik or yellow top once my current bat dies which should be soon. might even go ahead and buy it and just roll with it in my trunk incase it does die.

Batteries get weaker slowly as they get old...... just put the new one in when you get it.........

Odyssey, Kinetik, or other car audio battery...... they are miles ahead of optima. Yellowtops especially, not ideal for car audio.
