two XXX all the way

That would be such a great system. Good luck finding those subs though.

Rovin:
That should be plenty of power...... one of the best bass systems I ever heard was two RE XXX 18" tuned to 29 hz on an orion 2500w amp....... it was louder than I could stand to listen to and sounded GREAT.

well ive already got 1 04/05 motor and ive contacted fi and talked to scott about re cones. im looking for one more 04/05 motor then i have to decided wether i use the xxx's or the 9515

i know the xxx's will sound betterand get the lows better i jsut dont want to loose too much output by switching. ide rather not loose any but if it came down to it i would loose a little output for some great sq and lows.

so i figured ide ask people and see what they thought

i heard 1 15 '05 xxx on just about 900wrms & i was awesome but what i meant is they r rated 1600wrms so technically its going to be slightly under powered

but they r gr8 subs & i would love a pair - heck IF u think they r calling for more power then u can upgrade ur amp too .....

You shouldn't lose any output. I'd bet the slight increase in cone area will make up for the decrease in efficiency.
