Gold Member Username: Van_manBoston South, MA Post Number: 3338 Registered: Mar-06 | lol, Its ok. It is a stock 136 amp alt. I went thru a very large puddle and the gage went out. My cap still reads 14.4. And when I got home, shut it off, started it again it came back up to normal. I think it just slipped due to large volume of water on the belt/pully. Anyway its got a lifetime warranty so no big deal if it is bad. And 136 amps does ok. I seldom drive my van at night, and when I do, just minor dimming at full tilt. And thats with stereo,TV, heat, Lights, and X-mas lights at Christmas. And even with all that going ,voltage stays above 12.8. |
