I have 1 2ohm 12 type r and a zx1000.1 kicker amp and i waz wonderin if the 12 could take the power without blowing? let me know thanks every1 for your input!!!!
If it's dual 2 ohm, you're going to have to wire it to 4 ohms, and that will be fine. If you're saying you will wire it 2 ohms, then that's a bit much. From what I've heard, over a kilowatt isn't going to be good for a Type R. I believe people who have experience with them don't recommend over 750W. You can adjust your gain for a little less power, though.
