just bought a 12" Kicker L7 2ohm dvc sub box is already built its sealed in the back of a 95 Ram 1500. I need a little bit of help on an amp that i want to buy it is a JBL GTO 1201.1 787RMS W at 4ohms. I think the altenator in the truck is a 120amp altenator (not sure) will the trucks altenator be amp to handle that amp? more info The amp has 3 40amp fuses so 120 amps is the most the amp will pull i was told will i need a high output altenator?

will be doing the big 3 with 0g and a deep cycle battery.

Looks good. You should be fine with that amp. It will draw less current at 4 ohms.

ya, and not to mention your ears would not like it played at full volume, this would hurt.
