Alright, so I may be able to get a box built here with the help of a few people. I wanna make sure I build this box with the best design possible. I know a lot of you guys design great boxes, so I was wondering if you could help me out.

I am capable of using subwoofertools.com or whatever, but I would like a little more of a custom touch. This is going to be for a stock 15" BTL running off of only about 1000RMS (a waste I know but I will upgrade later). Anyways, can anyone help me out? I will get some dimensions when I get back home, but I'm on campus now. This will be a box that I wanna try to get the best possible SQ out of, because I know the BTL will get loud anyways. Also, I would prefer slot ported rather than aeros.

Thanks guys!

I had seen someone use one of those heavy duty concrete pier forms as a box. He mounted the sub on one end and sealed up and ported the other. Made a flat base for it and viola. They come in any size and are relatively cheap.

Not what you're looking for but I just thought I'd share it.......

I can answer three of the 4 right now...I am on campus still.

1) I'll get back to you in an hour or so.
2) 2000 Mercury Sable
3) 15" Fi BTL (stock, no options)
4) I want the best SQ possible. It will get plenty loud for me, so that is the goal.

Yeah that's the thing. It's a big trunk, but the openings absolutely blow! My best bet will be to take the back seat out I think. I'll get the info ASAP.

Yeah I have done that as well. Not fun. We'll try to avoid that this time!

Alright Dave...here it is:

12.5" height
36.0" length
20.0" depth (can go up to another foot if needed, but prefer around this amount)

Need anything else?
