I'm not a fan of it that's for sure...that's a 13'' sub with a 10'' cone.

yea..the cone and surround look almost audiobahn like. The stats on it look pretty impressive though for the price

Haha it does remind me of an audioburn.......... some people think subs with a fat surround are better, when in fact the opposite it true, it reduces cone area.

But none of you have any real idea, having never heard it. You are just drawing conclusions from specifications and pictures. Cool.

LOL! Only gonna get as loud as a 10. Come on. You haven't heard it, so how could you know. You can't come to a conclusion without actual observations of performance. You can hypothesize, but no more than that.

Wrong. Reducing cone area has it's effects. If you knew how sub-woofers worked...you'd understand it too.

I have an idea, Rob.
Amplifier charges the solenoid, moving the cone according to the frequency and amplitude of the signal. That may not be too in-depth, but it's a working piece of knowledge. Now, the more air it can displace per watt, the better, from our standpoint. However, a box can do wonders, as you should know.

2500 is the max power I think...they were saying 1200-1500 rms is the range on that sub. I'm still leaning towards a 15 Q for the price and to be good sealed in my application.

That doesn't mean much if they can't handle it mechanically.

I posted this a while ago, but since this fits the thread I may as well ask again. I ordered one of these a long time ago, and got tired of waiting for eD to finish. I went another direction with my install. So, I have one on order for about $250 (I got the pre-order and have to make sure the ecact price). Anyways, if anyone wants it for actual price, I will have it shipped to you directly form eD. I figure if someone wants to try it, you may as well do it for cheaper. Otherwise I will be canceling the order. Let me know.

Yet another facet that the enclosure has a hand in. In that video, they had 2.4kW on it.

Actually I heard some really good stuff about elemental designs like 2 years ago, on this site I think? Seems like they never got big. However I'm pretty sure they're more focused on home audio.
