Subwoofer buzzing

Hey, everyone, I've got a problem I was needing some help with. My subwoofer worked fine with the stock headunit until I put in an aftermarket, after messing with the amp settings I got it to work and it's been doing fine for about 2 weeks, recently though whenever the bass hits, the sub crackles or buzzes, whatever you wanna call it. I was thinking maybe I finally blew a voicecoil in it. But I hope someone here will tell me different. Thanks.

Setup:
Panasonic CQ-DF903U
Kicker 12" L7
Hifonics Brutus 1000w
All in a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500

sounds like a blown woofer to me ..

press on the middle of the woofer slightly and see if u hear a grinding noise ... which ultimately leads to problems ..

crackling and buzzing with a sub normally means an issue ...

best bet is to take the sub out of the box and take a REALLY GOOD inspection of the whole sub and look for loose things or burn marks

Can you probe a DMM into the terminals on the box and check the ohm load?

its probably blown, because i had a L7 once and it did the same exact thing, i took it out and the bottom part the cone was ripped out of place...

Based on the fact that it is an L7 it could very likely be damaged
