So today i was checking an old amp on my new system, the amp was a power acoustik 1000w amp (300rms) 2ohm stable.....and i have my subs wired in parrallel inside the box to each terminal...
At first when wiring the 2ohm stable amp in parallel + to + and - to - with the subs i turned on the car....
It worked and both subs were pumping slightly at around 10 volume on my head unit....i then proceeded to turn it up and when it hit around 20-25 volume (still being quite low) the subs stopped pumping...
I went and checked the amp and now when i turn on the car the amp's "power" light does not turn on and therefore gives no power to the subwoofers.....
what did i do wrong? and how do i wire a sub down to 1 ohm outa curiosity? so i dont ref()ck up my new amp when i connect it again tommrow?
