Look, I have this amp pictured below. It's a 1600a class d Infinity reference series. Its 600 watts RMS @ 2 ohm. 894 Maxx. But n e ways, I have two older infinity kappas 12" in a sealed box. What should I set my settings to?

Input level...LP Freq and Bass Boost.

what problems can i face with a bad ground wire not being grounded good enough will this cause my amp to cut on but not make sound?

ahhhh yes. No ground doesnt complete the circuit and you will start blowin fuses and possibaly your amp...secure your ground to the vehicle where there is no paint on there. If you have to sand the paint.

Hey, I am about to take back this Infinity 1600a Class D for a

Hifonics BXI-2006D
2000 Watt Monoblock Amplifier

Good or bad Idea???

Good trade, BUT.....

Your infinity amp is stable at 2 ohm, the hifonics is 1 ohm...... so you need to be able to wire the sub(s) to 1 ohm that will be used with it.


The hifonics amp is overrated, it does ~1600w at 1 ohm.

Ask that in the sub section and say whether you want sound quality, SPL (loud), or SQL (combination)
