Hell no. Kenwood sucks........

rockford fosgate t5001bd would be great that amp will do at least 800w, it's underrated.

US Amps MD-1D

JL Audio 1000/1

If budget is a problem you could get a hifonics 1206d. That amp is ok but nowhere near as good as the others. It's overrated and will do ~900w

If your budget allows, I can help you with a RD 1000.1 or Sundown 1000D :-)

I would give that sub no less then 1,000rms myself.

Give Kevin a shout about the amps (I've bought from him/RD a few times so far) and what MS listed are good choices as well and if your budget is tight Hifonics is a failry good budget amp.

Stay away from Kenwood, Sony, pyle, boss...etc

amps don't care what's connected to them as long as they're stable at that impedence. You could have a 50,000w sub - as long as it's no less than 1 ohm the amp "should" run fine.

However, from what I've read most of those kenwood amps that are supposed to be stable at 2 ohms or 1 tend to struggle when operated at 1 ohm. That may be your problem

Yeah, they kenwood amps that claim to be stable at 1 ohm are actually not, the are known to blow when run at 1 ohm.

are crunch any good do you think that the 1500 mono.
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/4998 can perform close to the kicker 750zx. i want to match it up to the one 12 sounstream sub enclosed box
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16056 i heard that the 750 kicker is a great match but to expensive. and the crunch is 1 ohm stable.

just for kicks which is better . 750 kicker or the 1800 watt kenwood.http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17788
cause my bro in law has the kenwood and says his its better but his is pushing 2 infinity 12 reference and shes pushing 2 12 pioneers 450 max watts per speaker. but i was recommended for her to get the soundstream sub since she only wants 1 12inch.
