12" FI Q Vs. RE XXX

Bronze Member Username: Vash3000Post Number: 88 Registered: Nov-06 | Which one would be better in terms of sq and spl? im looking for loud but yet clear. The FI 12" q, i can get brand new for around $260. While the 12" RE XXX (older model), I can get for $300 used. Which one would be a better deal? Im leaning towards more of the Q due to space but I can still fit a 12 xxx no problem. For the Q, Ill be feeding it 800watts at 4 ohms and the XXX I can give it a good 1600 watts at 1 ohm. So both, I will be pushin it to rms or close to rms. Anyone have experiences with these subs? I know that the guy created FI also created most subs for XXX but just wondering how will the Q stack up to the older model of the XXX? |

I looked at reaudio.com but couldn't find their older models. Also, will a sealed enclosure sound good with the XXX? |
