i have a regular sized yellowtop & want to upgrade but speaking to fellar car audio guys some of them prefer 1 brand over the other for various reasons.... so i want some more opinions on whether i should upgrade to the larger D31 Yellowtop or the Kinetic Hc2000

- both costs the same so : which & why ?????......

Kinetic FTW!! because this is what it was designed for, don't get me wrong the optima is a good bat too but it is not specifically designed for this type of use. The only thing that is good about an optima is its vibration resistance amd its longer lasting traits, it is way too expensive for what you get, for car audio anyway, now for a demolition derby car, hell yeah than the optima is the one for you but for output and dissipation rate on the kinetic is way better. Kinetics have a lower ESR rating it gives more power at quicker burst compared to a yellow tops controlled release. Kinetic has a faster recovery also..Polo.

Definitely Kinetik over Optima...... but check out Odyssey batteries if you're putting it under the hood. They have similar performance as kinetik and are built to handle harsh conditions.

I vote Batcap! My Batcap 2000 = much better than my old Kinetik 2000. Btw, My Kinetik is for sale.

It's brand new. I only hooked it up once to test my sub. Make me an offer in PM or msn or aim. I rarely check ecoustics.
