I recently got a sirius sportster for christmas, and have unsuccessfully attempted to hardwire it myself. In fact I have taken it to a local professional who could not figure out the problem either, telling me that I need a new docking station. He was wrong, it appears to be a wiring problem. We have wired it by cutting off the cigarette ligheter plug and wired it through the fuse box. Has any one had this problem? Any soloutions? Thanks
