I have a 1200W Xplod Sub and i was wondering if i should go ported or sealed, im thinking that if i crank it louder the pressure inside the box is gonna get pretty intense if it gets too big will it damage my speaker? So will ported be better to equalize the pressure behind the cone??? TIA!

Well, Sony subs aren't going to produce that much pressure cause they aren't that good. But, it's according to what kind of sound you want really. Sealed is not as loud and has better SQ. Ported is louder!
