i know how to do the gain but what about the rest of the stuff? i have a kx2500.1 running to a fully loaded dual 10hm btl if it matters. thnx for the help in advance.

bb off and lpf around 70hz or so. ss a little under the tuning of the box (if ported).

Subsonic filter: ON, if adjustable, a few hz below tuning of box.


Bass boost: 0


LPF, crossover, frequencey, etc: about 80-85 for most systems, can be a little more or less.


Phase, if the amp has it: 0

I don't believe that a blanket statement can be said for phase adjustment. It's quite useful for getting the subs and the mids blending, reducing cancellation at the crossover point, improving mid-bass etc.

With the subs 180 degrees out, I get much better mid-bass.

Yes, the LPF and Phase can be played with to try and achieve the best sound. I just told him what, in my experience, usually works best.
