If you are like many people, you might have two or more iPods. Why? Well, you might use your shuffle or Nano for the gym or car, and use your Classic or Touch at the office in a dock. So if you are wondering how to sync multiple iPods from one computer, here are a couple of quick steps that will easily allow you to sync multiple iPods from your single computer.
Create the Playlists
Here's how to setup multiple playlists for your iPods: 1. Create a new iTunes playlist for each one of your iPods. This is where you can call the playlist "gym" or "office" or whatever you like, just so you know what they are. a. Click on the '+' button, located in the lower left hand corner of the iTunes window to create a Playlist. A new item untitled playlist appears under the Source column. b. Type in a name for your playlist. c. With your newly created playlist selected, you can drag and drop audio files, including .aiff files, into the main window. d. Rearrange the files in the exact order you would like to listen to them.
2. Configure the iPod Options in iTunes so that each iPod only gets updated with a specific playlist.
