I really liked how my setup sounded in my old car (a 4-door pontiac). but I bought a new car, another 4-door with a huge trunk, but I'm not happy with it at all. the new car is an '02 dodge intrepid. I seem to recall Glasswolf saying he had/was getting an '01 Intrepid if i'm not mistaken, or maybe some of you have them. I also noticed that under the rear deck (by the rear speakers) is a metal back-dash. could this be muffling the sound?

Yea it does. I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid with 15" Kicker comps and the bass is not as loud as it should be. My seats don't fold down so I'm kinda gonna have to live with the way it sounds for now. You could always just take out the 6x9 and leave them out so that the bass has a way to get into the cabin. You can always punch some holes into the deck and cover it with some acoustic material. I'll let ya know what I do when I solve my problem.
