I am just curious too see what everyone's favorite subs are. I have been kind of out of the car audio loop and want to know what everyone's favorite is beside the usual JL audio-that's a given.
I would have to say eclipse titanium as well but the aluminum series from eclipse is also good. Alpine type X or type Rs are also pretty good and infinity kappa perfects are awesome SQ subs.
WOW, has Eclipse subs moved up with the big boys now? I know they always been a good quality sub but never expected them to be one of the key players. Well I have Boston Acoustics and am extremely happy with those.
I never knew Alpine to have good subs. I know they used to be ok but they must have moved up as well. Now I LOVE Alpine in general just never been a favor of their subs but that was way back maybe now they are good.
the Eclipse Ti subs are extremely nice, yeah.. good power handling, and those titanium cones don't flex at all. Great subs for SQ, though there are louder subs out there. The ID's are the same way. great for SQ. There are a couple of brands out there that are better, but they aren't easy to find. Sort of like trying to find a Sinfoni dealer in the US.
